About the Author
Janine R. Lutchman-Nkouetang is a foreign language educator and writer from Trinidad and Tobago with extensive experience teaching Chinese language and culture to learners from preschool to tertiary level. Passionate about storytelling, her emerging writing career includes short stories in Mandarin Chinese published in Easy-to-Read Chinese Short Stories, Books 3 and 4 (Eds. April Zhang and Carlton Cash). She also co-edited Unearthing Traditions: Stories of Language & Culture book series (Volume One & Volume Two) a collection exploring language, culture, and identity across diverse communities.
