Description

Through her Eyes is a collection of stories with female protagonists which deal with themes such as sexuality, abuse, familial struggles, postpartum depression, and identity. The stories are an exploration of the expectations of women, and the role of men in relation to women in society. The stories investigate and explore how the presence of men, and the role that secrets and lies play in female decision making, as well as on enjoyment of life. Each female protagonist has a defining moment where they must make a major decision and this decision sets several events into action. The collection seeks to showcase how women can overcome the pressures of unfair societal expectations and seek to carve out a life for themselves.
