Sydney Bascombe is a Canadian-Trinidadian author of children’s colouring books and an aspiring children’s book author.
She is a Canadian trained and internationally experienced elementary school teacher. Sydney loves working with kids and seeing their eyes light up when reading picture books. She loves having discussions with older elementary students on their novel studies.
The kid’s reactions, as well as her love of reading has influenced her interest in creating books for children.
As an educator, she believes that books in all their forms are the windows to new worlds to be discovered by children in order to enhance their critical thinking and creativity.
