Description

I wrote this memoir for every eldest sibling who had to grow up way too fast. “I Raised Them While Raising Myself” is a look at what happens when a child is thrust into a caregiving role before they even understand life themselves. It’s a story about the weight of that responsibility, the sacrifice of one’s own childhood, and the long journey of finally learning how to put yourself first. It’s a raw, honest guide for anyone who navigated “survival mode” alone and is now looking for a way to heal and reclaim their own peace.
